Okay, so the picture doesn’t really have that much to do with sentence five… But it is funny. And we are focusing on the Old Testament. Sentence five is short and easy!

The Old Testament consists of 39 books written before the birth of Jesus Christ.

The Bible is divided into an Old Testament of thirty-nine books and a New Testament of twenty-seven books. Now, the important thing to know is that the thirty-nine books of the Old Testament were written before the birth of Jesus Christ.

Remember the Old Testament anticipates the coming of Jesus Christ, so it becomes obvious that these were written before His birth.

Day 9- Community. I am so thankful that I live in an area where I can openly worship the Lord and am encouraged to do so. This community is especially evident here at the Institute.
